Well, it is going to be a super busy summer and we can already feel it coming on!
Seth and I have been running all over the place trying to get things done for the ranch since we finally have some warm weather to work outside. We have all our seeds for our garden but we are going to wait until the ground is a little warmer before we plant anything. We have cucumbers, corn, tomatoes, peas, peppers, radishes, carrots, watermelon, and a hanging strawberry plant! I am so excited for that one. There will be lots of pictures when we start getting it really going.
We are moving our cows to our summer pasture in the hills in a few weeks. It is a two hour drive from where we keep the cows now so it is always a fun trip getting everything moved around and situated. It usually takes about a week to do. We have been busy trying to get everything ready for that as well as get Seth driving for this new company in Casper. He is down there today doing the final paperwork so maybe he will be able to start driving this week!
I am sure you will hear more about it but the next few weeks will be so hectic for the Williams family, my parents and siblings, as well! My sister is graduating from high school, my older brother is graduating from the naval academy in Annapolis and then is getting married in Custer a week later. Cope will be getting baptized this summer and Brigham is getting ordained to a Teacher. It is also my parent's 25th wedding anniversary this year!! It is definitely a milestone year for the family. I will be staying in Lead with my family all next week between Nash's graduation and my mom leaving for Annapolis. I am going to babysit the little boys she watches and make sure the kids are where they need to be. It will be fun to be back with them for a week.
Seth and I were also able to talk to his sister, Sister Raimee Stewart, over Skype on Sunday! It was so great to be able to see her face and hear her voice. She has been on a mission for our church in Forteleza Brazil. She left last July so it has been quite a while since we have seen her in person. We aren't sure on details yet, but we might be going down to get her after she is finished in December. We are so excited but she said that Brazil gets very dangerous around Christmas because everyone is inside so it is more likely that we will get attacked or mugged. That makes me a little nervous. We will just have to see what happens!
Like I said, things will be crazy so I hope I won't miss any weekly blogs. I kinda enjoy doing this! If so, catch ya on the flip side and I will fill you all in as soon as I get back.
